Hello all. I thought I would make a post for everyone that is new to RC's. When you take certain RC's you have a HUGE RISK of taking to much without a digital scale that is accurate to .001. Dont' eye ball it or use the graph technique. I personally know people that were off and ended up in the hospital. If you can't afford a good scale (which I don't know why since they are quite low priced now) then here is a method to use. Lets say you purchased 100 mg of 2C-I. Now lets say that your dosage for you is around 12mg. You then take and dissolve the 2C-I into 2 ounces of liquid. MAKE SURE it is totally dissolved and use distilled water. You will now have roughly eight "hits" of product. Each 2 drams (.25 oz) of liquid will be a "hit". Any comments to this post are greatly appreciated. If you know of better ways to dissolve the RC's without destroying the integrity please feel free to post.
everclear works better than distilled water. make sure you know your startting weight when dillutiing. I like to use insulin syringes 1cc. they can measure out exact amounts. but liquid measurement works great!
Liquid measurement is great, but you need to weigh the material prior to dissolving to make sure of the weight, verdors do make mistakes. I'd also like to add that when first receiving a chemical, especially from an online verndor, that it's a good idea to try a submilligram dose first and work your way up to make sure that you didn't receive the wrong chemical. I've heard of people accidently getting DOI instead of 2c-I, and that would really suck to weigh out 12-20mg of DOI thinking that it's 2c-I.
