Hello's.. I haven't put dreads in the whole of my head just yet. I put my first dread in on the 24th of December last year (2010). A couple of months later I didn't like it being it's size, so I split it in half to make two. I put at least 14 dreads in my hair, all mostly of the left side of my head. I liked them, but I didn't like how messy they were, and I took them all out, except one, which is the dread I put in first. After a day of taking the rest out, I felt strange without them, and it felt extremely odd just having one. All of the dreads I did were backcombed in that set. I put a bit of a thick dread in, about two and a half months ago, doing the twist and rip method, and it's coming along great. I'll put up a picture of, about two weeks after I put it up. It looks backcombed, but I can tell you, it looked like a full braid when I first did it. I'll also put up a picture of how it is now. I put two more dreads in last night, so I have five now. I want to take it slow getting a full head of dreads. I prefer to put a few in at a time, because I like to focus on them, and see how they're doing. This was my 'chunky' dread, after about two weeks after putting it in. And this is it now (taken today - 8th July)
I just liked that one doll. that doesn't make me a Living Dead Doll kind of person. Plus, the thread I made, is for the journey of my dreads, not for items in my bedroom. :daisy:
They're looking fantastic, methinks. I'm actually doing a similar thing-taking the dread journey slow, right now I have one to give all my attention to (she is a much loved only child) and it's fun watching the progress, the loosening and knotting and fun little kinks. I plan on trying different methods for more in the future and see which works best for my hair. Thanks for sharing, they look great. Kudos on the beadies
Thank you I prefer to do it this way. It's exciting to see how much they are progressing. I'll have to put up a picture of the dreads I have when I put all my beads and things back in them. I washed them the other day and haven't really been assed to put them back in xD
Pocky is good and all, but when you have the apparent contents of full cases of it, you should probably think about buying local candies with more reasonable prices. There's probably some good shit around your area, made in your area, if you know where to look.
It is not pocky. I don't like the flavours of it that much. Most of the boxes I keep are pretz. And I do not buy cases of them I just keep them over time
