In my area of the country, not a single person I know (that is from here originally) would even consider using anything but Duke's mayo!
i don't use either other than on the very rare occasion that i go to subway, so whatever they have in their "mayo" bottle is what i will stick with.
actually i have found sour cream with a bit of bullion powder to work better then either. i used to love real mayo and hate that whip crap and never understood what attracted anyone to the flavor of the latter but then, along with cooked tomatoes, or anything made with them, as i got older, i discovered sever back pains, when i ate either, let alone the combination i used to love, of them. very small amounts are usually ok. but more then that i pay for with pain. i have no idea why this is. how much is physical. how much psychological. it just happens, and happens consistantly enough, that i've learned to avoid it.

Miracle whip is good on turkey sandwiches but that's about it. Mayo on burgers. But I'm cautious with mayo, it's the only thing that's ever given me violent food poisoning.
Mayo if I make it myself as I have not found a prepared one that I actually like. If I am not making it then I use Miracle whip.
