Maybe . . .

I will just get a bad grade in this class. I mean, I think that's alright once in your life, to just not do well. It is one class, it is not a barometer for my worth as a person nor my intelligence.

 

Uh.

That's why I don't worry about it. I used to be an overachiever. Now I'm just an achiever.... I still learn just as much.

Sometimes you have to learn when to be apathetic.

 

When I started college, I completely stopped trying. I became totally apathetic about the whole thing. I skipped a ton of classes, never studied, blew-off assignments... and I still (miraculously) passed all of my classes.

Now THAT's something to be proud of.

 

Apathy is a virtue, to me, in regards to intellect.

You have to know when to buy or sell.

 

Except grades have a really high correlation with IQ and future success in life.

 

Seems to depend on what it really means to the person, as well. Some people lack the ability to moderate it.

 

...and then theres those fuckin teachers who will fail you automatically if you skip an assignment.

 

Yeah, my daughter is like that. She's always had too much sand...

 

Rather than skipping any classes i'm just going to skip the whole college deal

i have no idea what i'm gonna do...maybe i should start thinking about that

 

im plannin on not goin thru college and relyin on the fact that im pretty much gettin into construction work one way or the other i just found this out lately tho so up till now i was a staright A student now im like b and c average im goin to vocational school for my next 2 years of highschool then workin for my stepdads company for a few years after that then fuckin around till i find out what i wanna do
