This forum is all about max payne 3 which i believe had an amazing story line but lacked in multiplayer fun. please elaborate.
I'm not too surprised by its failure to deliver in multiplayer, as the Max Payne series has always been about playing alone so the dark and dramatic feel is felt more (personal opinion). However, I did enjoy multiplayer mode until I got to a higher rank. After making a higher rank, it got old real fast because of the low number of maps. The ranking system prevents noobs from wielding the higher power weapons, which I liked, but it doesn't take long to get the required amount of kills. Surprise! It also doesn't deter noobs or cheapasses at all! An other complaint I have is that some weapons are pretty damn broken in multiplayer, and one thing I hate to see is people pistol sniping and raping the map just like COD. Not that the pistols aren't awesome, and that they don't require skill, but some of them are just straight up OP to the point where it's cheap and unrealistic (something I would've hoped for balance of in the multiplayer at least).
