I'm not sure where the original poster of the message is hearing that from but from my own experience (a male perspective) I was told by my parents at a young age that it was wrong to touch yourself so I'm guessing that might be the answer to your question.

 

There is nothing wrong with masturbation in any form as long as you are not hurting yourself or anyone else. Masturbation is a normal, natural, safe, healthy and very enjoyable pastime whether alone or with someone else. There is no physical or medical reason for a healthy human not to masturbate. The only time that masturbation is unhealthy is if it prevents you from performing the other necessities in your everyday life!!
