Masturbating In Front Of Pets: Awkward or Not?

For some reason, i'm just really creeped out by the thought/action of masturbating in front of animals. Like my cat for instance, I feel weird jerking it in front of her so I physically have to remove her from my room whenever I wanna get off. But it's not just cats either, it's also dogs. I remember when I was still living with my parents in my teens, we had a dog that insisted on sleeping on my bedroom floor at night. I noticed when I would start to jerk off, he would just lay there with his down on his paws and kinda stare & whimper at me which I found... off putting.. to say the least. Maybe it's just me but I don't know. Am I alone here or what?

Its awkward i think...mainly because they are just so innocent sitting there...it just feels like doing it in front of your kids or something lol so yea, just not something i prefer.

When I had hamsters, I didn't think twice about doin it, they don't pay attention to you at all XD but when I got my cat it was awkward. Oh no animals with a certain level of brain development know what's going on.

They can smell the change in pheromones and increase in sweat glands during arousal and it peaks their interests.

But I think if one's pet is a pervert or prude really depends on their personality. I've heard of pets like fleeing a room as well as trying to enter it if something intimate is going down.

Goldfish and lower intellectual pets like rodents would not know what's going on and probably not care.

But that parrot and headbutt story is halarious and I can definitely see that happening.
