My dog, Gracie Daze, is a 4 year old Bullmastiff. When she was 2, I bred her with my cousins Bullmastiff, Zues. I found some old pictures so I thought I'd share There will be more to come...
Pretty much the cutest pictures EVER. If I ever have a big dog it will probably be a mastiff. Go big or go home, right? They remind me of HUGE pugs which is what I have. Love!!! I have a friend that had 2 mastiffs. Each of them were over 200 pounds. The dogs in the house outweighed the people.
Oh goodness. The very first picture with the two tilting their heads....I awwwwwe'd out loud. So much cute! :svengo:
That's Grace and her sister tilting their heads, and both of their baby daddy on the right.....When they were all about 4 months.
The dogs pictured here are Bullmastiffs, they range from 90-140 pounds. Grace is about 110. The ones you are talking about are the English Mastiffs, which are the heaviest dogs there are. My sister also has an English that's at 200 now, and he's barely over a year old (they continue to grow for 3 years.) Mastiffs are a huge huge family. There are a LOT of different Mastiffs out there. A lot of people don't realize that Great Danes, St Bernards, Doggie De Bordeaux (turner and hooch), Cane Corso, etc. Are all part of the Mastiff Family. Along with Countless others. Here is my Sisters English Mastiff, Odus, at 5 months....and a pic of Gracie, Odus, and Bearzo on my bed around the same time. Also....The time Odus couldn't figure out how to fit in the doggie pool, and Bearzos first time at the bar.
