So I am a heavyweight when it comes to anything besides herb. Whenever I smoke weed I turn into a different person. I dont know how to say it but i feel like I am hallucinating events and speech.

The other day I started smoking weed after 3 months being sober, and well of course I got really high. I took 1 bong rip :( I know its bad. I zone out, I have trouble thinking for myself and can only use 3 - 5 syllable words. And I cant really talk.... Pretty much the only thing I can do is apologize for getting to high. I also feel like I a dreaming.

My theory is that I inherited a sleep disorder from my dad and enter a seperate consciousness through they delayed brainwaves cause by the marijuana, sleep-functioning I will call it ;)

This is really not something I like to experience but I love the other effects of weed. But sometimes I hear things that people dont say, I double check and everything.

Basically I am asking, how do I make these effects go away?

Would building up a tolernece and putting u with the effects be worth it?

Why can I not handle weed but I can handle heavy amounts of other drugs like Mushrooms, alchohal, ecstacy and cocaine?

Any personal experience would be much appreciated!

I smoked weed a few times when I was 15, but I had such horrible effects with it that I have no been able to smoke it ever again.

I don't get effects like I'm hallucinating or whatever, but I do get really, really, reaaaaalllyyy sick. I was never able to make the effects go away.

build your tolerance, that was the only way for me. it didn't help that the weed i was smoking when i first started was really dank. i couldn't even walk without bumping into walls and such but it went away after i got a higher tolerance to it.

Some people, (a lot actually) are allergic to weed.
Plus in general, my experience is people smoke way too much at one time.
I don't like to get really stoned, not only is it a waste but It's not very pleasant either.

BTW also in my observation a high percentage of regular boozers are averse to weed, mostly because they were already fucked up on booze when they did smoke and the head spins come very easily with that combo

I'm really intolerant to weed, so building up a tolerance would probably be pretty dangerous for me because of the fact that you have to keep smoking it (or smoke better weed) and I always found that the higher I was, no matter what method (smoking, vaping, eating, etc) I felt sicker and sicker

A lot of people do smoke weed... i would say its not for everyone.
Sounds like you just have a low tollerance... When my tolerance to weed is low and i smoke dank i have some of the same effects about being able to talk little to none but tolerance builds up.

I would say that if it makes you sick or anything you should quit.

It depends upon the individuals. It will be really surprising if the experiences are identical in all the cases.

lol stop freaking out. How many times have you smoked? That's what marijuana does to new users. I don't think you have a sleeping disorder at all - I think you're just really high, bro. :D

I say enjoy your intolerance, make it last, take small hits, don't smoke too often -- climb that tolerance tree as slow as possible!

A lot of us yearn for those old days. You'd be surprised how much different of a high I get get now vs. even 2 years ago.

    You got too high..... duh.

Like a lot of people in this thread.

If you get too high..... smoke less, and smoke often, and you will have a tolerance in no time.

Noooo. Don't do that. Enjoy the slow process. Tolerance will happen anyways and you can never really get it back. :)
