These are some of the pictures I drew for art class and the teacher freaked out on me and said it was "profanity" and all this bullshit, but I figured I would post it here to show you guys, Let me know your thoughts and post your own if ya got any

Lmao well I have seen kids in my class draw like crazy mushrooms and shit so wouldn't think i'd be a big deal and I showed my rents and they thought they were bomb aha

Lol for photography in grade 10 I made a pinhole camera and my decoration was a bunch of mushrooms and psychedelic patterns.aswell as a sheet of fake blotter. I tell all my teachers I smoke, and a select few about acid and such.

 

Your art teacher is stupid that bong is awesome I'd hit it lol

I am one of those kids that loves to draw mushrooms, hell it is all I care to draw and thus all I have become good at drawing.

 

Thats what I told her...I was like "Its what I like to draw and its what im decent at drawing so thats what im going to draw".

 

Your teacher didn't call it profanity because it's drug related, she called it profanity because it's an insult to art.

Which is exactly what art is. Grading art defeats the point because it's one persons judgment of what is "good" over what other people are creating. Obviously in your case she disapproved of it because she thinks art is something that can be taught, when only technique can be taught, real art comes from within.

 

you don't understand the concept of artistic expression.

 

Art teachers are more there to guide I think she didnt sound too happy about that. Our end of year project was on freedom and I painted a butterfly coming out of the word freedom over a feild of gree and under a blue sky with the end of each letter twisting out into different psychedelicy type images with blotters, mushrooms and reference to a lot of drugs but the teacher was well pleased with it got an A for it.

Shes told us about her acid trips though and compared art to "being stoned" its only a small class of abvious drug users though so its good, nice relaxed class we got to listen to music aswell or if it was sunny just go outside and draw whatever.

You should draw something similar if you have to re-do it

 

I remember people in art classes during the sessions of pottery, people made bongs

 

Because everything is art?


Blah blah blah. That's just shit thinking perpetuated by people don't understand that there's an inherent element of quality to art, and therefore, not everything is art.

Some things are just shit.

 

meeeh i don't think art teachers grade on how "good" something is, more so on the effort put into it.
