maybe your under stress? eating alot of chocolate? or orther bad shit? over weight? others i missed? or do you know for sure its the weed?
Since I started smoking i've had less acne haha, in fact, I only get like 1 pimple per month now. Not sure if it's directly related to smoking or not but yea.
Yeah man don't worry about it. Most people go through acne, and it's not like it changes who you are or anything. It's just superficial.
i guess its puberty. i get the occasion spots, mainly high up by my hairline, i think its becaus my skin can breathe right when its covered by much hair. anyway i feel lucky and blessed that my face isnt covered in spots, alot of people my age have very badly noticeable acne problems, whole face covered in spots and these red swelled up pores. i dont know, i wash my face with facial scrub daily, that might be why - if i dont after a week i get spots on my nose and cheecks. i would advise to anyone
i had acne back in the day, before i ever smoked weed. then i took these pills and it's been gone for about 3 or 4 years. i gotta keep a clean face or i get a few pimples here and there.
Puberty never hit me with pimples. But whatever I wasn't perfect either. I find no increase in zits from weed. I do find bong zits to be pretty annoying though.
stress, chocolate or poor diet do not have any impact on acne...those are old myths which have been proven false
I can think of two very legitimate reasons why bud smoking could cause an increase in breakouts. 1. A lot of people fidget a lot and become unaware of what their body/hands are doing when they are high. One of the classic fidgets is touching the face. If you want to get rid of zits, NEVER touch your face for any reason. I'm serious. Your hands are the greasiest, most germ-covered part of your entire body. 2. A lot of people pass out without taking care of their hygiene when they are really high/drunk. You must wash your face before you go to sleep if you don't want to wake up with a few nasty landmines the next day. Wash your face at least twice a day with Cetaphil soap. Keep your pillow case clean, never touch your face, never pop your zits, and don't touch your nasty cell phone to your face. This should get you well on your way to a clearer complexion.
Yeah I have mild-moderate acne and I take care of it. I know all the care that should be taken, and I do wash and use products and stuff, but still I got more than before. I just noticed last night, and as much as it is superficial, it sucks ASS that I just see everybody basically put shit on their faces (figure of speech) and have perfect skin. I know those pills, accutane. Sad thing is, you need to get blood tests for that, AND it might stop growth if growth is not completed yet.
My acne is terrible! I have used tons of different products, but none seem to have a great impact. (I am guessing my diet has something to do with this) When I went to the doctor for bronchitis he gave me a special prescription for my acne that I hope will work. The weird thing is EVERY pharmacy in Rockford (my city, which is a pretty decent sized city) needed to special orders the ingridients for the acne stuff, so I have to wait till Monday.
When I was 15 or 16 I had some mild acne. Just zits here and there, but never a perfect complection like I have now, and I wasn't smoking as much weed as I do now. But I started taking birth control pills then and it cleared up my face. Now I'm taking a birth control shot every 3 months, but I'm out of the acne years anyway so I never have problems. But I doubt that weed would be causing it. Just keep a clean face, and clean hands if you touch your face a lot. Also you should use an astringent at night to get rid of anything that you might have now. Don't bother with those acne creams they are pretty much useless.
^ hahaha Yea sorry to all you guys out there. Birth control really is a nice little magic pill for women. I haven't had my period for 1 1/2 years now also since I'm on the shot after the baby.
Nature's Cure worked great for me in high school, and the "proactiv" stuff works great too Nature's Cure has different formulas, male/ female, face/ body (back zits suck so bad!) I stopped taking it, just in case it effected my BCPs because the docs weren't sure. even if chocolate itself doesn't lead to acne, if you don't wash your hands to get rid of the chocolate, you can get pimples wherever you touch your face.
