anyone have any final four predictions?? who will make it?? any cinderella teams?? comments??

 

I cant stand dick vitale, all he knows is teams out east like UConn, Duke and boston college, and then UCLA.... thats it. why is it that all espn announcers are for all teams out east?? I know it is usually the largest fan base, and espn broadcasts out of connecticut, but come on, there is more talent elsewhere!

Don't know enough about most of the teams to offer anything intelligent but I reside in UCONN country & alot of folks are predicting they will have a cakewalk to the final four. I say they fold like a card house before they get there... they've shown a tendency to play unranked teams real close- even at home and they're going to not take someone seriously enough so they'll get their asses handed to them.

 

sorry, but I loathe teams out east, they get more praise than any other area in the country... beit baseball, football, basketball, all college sports....... Id like to see them choke early, especially duke.

does anyone ever mention kansas university? they have 3 freshman and 2 sophs all starters, they ended up tying for the big 12 championship, and then won the big 12 tourney championship over texas, and it was just a minor footnote to the critics.

hopefully this year, KU will not choke early, like they usually do when they get 1st and 2nd seeds....... they play bradley first round, which is a really good team with a low seed.

 

I prefer May Madness with the NBA.

yuck. I loathe the NBA. bunch of overpaid, showboating douchebags. their games bore me. Id rather see the heart and soul of the college kids in the ncaa tourney.

Like I have ANYTHING at all to say to you after you bashed something I enjoy just because you don't appreciate it...

 

My team isn't even going to make it...so I'm not even going to bother to watch. University of Michigan basketball sucks...and I had so much hope at the beginning of the season :$

 

My Dad is with ya on that. He grew up in Detroit. HUGE fan...

 

Since U of M basketball is trash, I have to root for the Pistons now.

 

That is a safe team to cheer for these days, although I can't say I appriciate you rooting for my arch enemies! Yeah, playoffs were pretty interesting wwith my dad a die hard Pistons fan watching MY team Miami at our house. We were constantly talking trash to each other... heehee...

And this year will probably end up the same way... only with Miami stealing the win of course...

you know I cant even tell you where all those old KU basketball players play now in the nba...... raef lafrentz, kirk heinrick, nick collison, paul pierce....... where do they all play? I think paul pierce is still at boston, isnt he?

 

State? No thanks. It's just not right to root for MSU if you a U of M fan...and vice versa LOL.

 

ahh yeah, like kansas state for me. I did go to school there though, but Im a KU fan.
