I figured this would be a good artical to start a thread on to discuss the long term effects from MDMA use. http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2006/apr/04/drugsandalcohol.drugs1?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Socialblade-DiggFrontpageData+(SocialBlade+-+Digg+FrontPage+Data)
My friend said every time you take one pill, you get a hole in your brain. If thats true wouldnt he have 40000 holes in his brain?
Thats not true... But this is just proof that you need to be careful when playing with fire. Be responsible... I know thats an oxymoronic statement... Telling people who use drugs to be responsible... haha. xD
Some people just do drugs and don't do any studies on what they are doing first, that's why we need more data on this forum to have knowlegable discussions on.
I really dont think a knowledgeable conversation with someone that eats 40000 hits of anything is going to help that person. Just remember moderation in everything.
Well we are obviously not going to be holding a conversation with the actual guy, but we can discuss the effects that he went through up to eating 25 pills a day though. It can help the future people that are interested in using MDMA and researching it first... Tough crowd this morning eh?
So I will start posting MDMA research information on this thread also. MEMORY & COGNITIVE EFFECT STUDIES on Erowid http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/mdma/references/mdma_research_summaries.shtml MAPS http://www.maps.org/mdma/
Guess so, I am pretty sick. I also don't like it that no one tries to be responsible here. I had another thread that I was talking about that in before I came to this one. I like the link though for real! Having both sides of the drug story is important. This forum is obviously bias most of the time.
Sorry I'm not trying to give anyone a hard time but if your taking 25 pills a day of anything a little voice should eventually scream "hey slow down". But your absolutely right knowledge is power, and if by posting this you might save someone from making the same mistake. I'm just lucky with addictions I guess, I always listen to the little voice which is why I'm still alive.
I heard about that guy. I really hope nobody on this forum is even nearing 100-1000 pills, lol, that's a bit ridiculous. Does anybody remember how you crash after doing 2 pills one night for a day or two? Imagine 25 a day no breaks. Damn.
I have never had an addiction to anything besides ciggs and marijuana. I quit ciggs and MJ will always be my #1. I have tried some of the most "addicting" drugs and none of them I really liked at all. I guess that's a good thing. But even when I was really young and first venturing into drugs and psychedelics I did massive research on doses, effects, what the drug was and laughed at ppl who didn't. I knew they would make dumb choices, and most of them did. So I know there are alot of ammature enthusiasts looking for info as I did. I didn't have the interwebz back then and was stuck to books and getting info from experienced people that I knew. Just like when I started taking E and I always knew not to mix with alcohol, you can tell the uneducated by the people who do. And they don't even listen, those are the people who will have the problems in the long run. Or people who drink too much water cause they think it's good for you, but don't know the bad effects from drinking too much water.
I have at least done 100 pills in the past 10 years, the most I have consumed in one night is 7. And that was with re dosing, not all at once. If you have a nice clean MDMA pill or pure Molly, the crash is not that bad. It is the other shit and impurities that give you bad reactions. Research and experience...
Yeah just going by how it effected me and I've only tried it once. Would not want to be at 25 a day no breaks, lol.
Oh she said she looked at an x-ray of someone who had done it for years and their brain looked like swiss cheese? I wonder where she learned this from if its not true. Dun Dun Duuun. Lol.
So is she a doctor of some sort that can read xrays? How credible is she? How do you know that that person didn't have any history of other drug use or abuse? Any more credible info would help. Thx Don't believe everything you hear, lmfao.
First of all, I think this guy must have had an amazing 9 years. I mean damnn, rolling every week since like 21, I'm pretty jelous.. It's a shame that this man is suffering now. But then again once you cross the 1,000 mark of any substance, it's probably time to stop. I know a dude that takes pure mdma practically every weekend (his gf too). Sometimes even two or three days in a row. He's 20 right now. He's a party animal. Doesn't suffer from depression and doesn't let crashes get to him that because he has a strong healthy mentality and a positive outlook on life. He has fainted once or twice at house parties, perhaps due to his lifestyle, but other then that he seems perfectly healthy, happy and a cool dude. Anyway, they need to make more studies on subjects that take mdma once a week, once a month, and once a year, for several years. These findings will be much more applicable to the general crowd including us. While this 40,000 case is really cool, and thanks for posting it, the findings don't mean much. They only mean two things: that I want to go and shake that man's hand for being a veteran, and that he spent 40,000 x 5 = $200,000 on mdma. :S good luck..
Im in awe of how he maintained his addiction. He must have been working rolled out of his mind for years on end to pay for his habit. Obviously most of that damage has to be from MDMA but impurities could have played a minor role as well with that many pills, especially when shovelling 5 down a day.
