that just fucked...a music teacher not far from me was arrested for improper contact with his 14 year old students...and then i was reading his transcript of the questioning and he was saying things like "i just wanted to make sure they felt the same way about me as i did about them"...and i was thinking "ARE YOU FUCKING CRAZY?!?!?"...some people...

I remember about 15 years ago, a nine year old gave birth in Brazil, if I remember correctly. She is probably a granny by now.

 

I've no idea how can a 10 year old survive that, not to mention conceive.

Thats horrible, and happens more often than you think. I didnt have a kid, or get pregnant, but was in that same situation at 10 years old. as to why she didnt have an abortion, In mexican culture, maily because of them being catholic, abortion is a great sin, even worse than incest and rape, and Im sure the childs mother didnt want to get in trouble by taking the 10 year old into an abortion clinic. Im sure the plan was for her to deliver at home and the kid brought up as her brother or something. Alot of these women, especially if they grew up in mexico are trained to not question what the men do, regardless of how wrong. the child's mother was probably beaten into silence, or like my mother, knew, but didnt give a shit enough to do anything to stop it. i feel for her.

The first thing I read in that article was the dateline, which was Portland, Oregon, teen pregnancy capital of the US. But it happened in Idaho.

There will more than likely be no trial, no prison. He'll plead that it wasn't rape, it was consensual, it's a cultural thing in his country and he'll get deported.
