i have a plant and just found out it was male but i only have one and i was just growing to get a little bud so should i let it finish growing or will i even get bud ?
Males will not give you bud. Period. You could smoke the leaves and give yourself a splitting headache but thats up to you.
Use the males for cooking! Won't be much of a high from them, but they taste gorgeous and it's better than just disposing of it.
Well if your growing any other plants make sure you take that one away, because if you have females the male will eventually pollinate them and then you'll have no good bud to smoke.
