Our Dad was on Plaquenil, a similar drug, for arthritis. I forget when he stopped taking it but he was possibly in his early 90's or late 80's. He was on so many drugs at that time I don't remember if he had side effects to that drug in particular. It was given to patients with rheumatoid arthritis. He had osteoarthritis.
