My mom is getting into the craft of weaving her own fabric. Does anyone else do this? I watch her weave the thin little thread into this huge fabric with beautiful patterns, and it's amazing. Who else does this?
Since she's still somewhat of a beginner at it, it usually takes her about two weeks for a large, generous piece of fabric. She's been doing it for about two months now, and she's created three pieces. You should see the loom for it... it's huge!!!!
That is so cool. I love watching those Native American ladies using looms to make those huge rugs and fabrics...it's amazing to see the pattern take shape. It's beautiful. That would be a good hobby. I would like to say that not only did I sew the clothes I make but I also made the fabric

My ex-boyfriends mom did that.. I loved to watch her work.. It was really cool.. The loom toook up so much of the basement... she was gonna teach me but unfortunatly her son sucked and I had to break up with him.. I was soooo sad abount not seeing her anymore
May is a weaver, you may wanna give her a pm. She sews, but I know weaving is probably her first love.
I would love to post pictures of her creations, and while she's weaving (because she looks so involved )... but I don't have a digital camera.
