Ok dokie 2 questions:

1. Is it hard to do?
And
2. Where's the best info on the interwebz for me to use?

 

Where is your fruiting mushroom?..

 

I don't have it yet. But when they begin fruiting they will be in a closet....

place mushroom cap on a peace of foil, cover with cup....... leave set 24hrs. remove cap from foil- observe print left behind..

Do the cup and foil need to be sterile?

 

not really.. they should be clean though..

Take the 2nd cup down from a fresh stack.. Uncoil the foil from a loop , use a part of it that hasnt been exposed to kitchen counter dust..
