The BEST part isn't the taste, which is fantastic, the best part is, it'll smell like grandmas house!
Homemade crisps are the best. What I love is that it only takes 5 minutes to throw one together, and I can make them in a single serving. They work with any fruit too! MMM, now I've got the craving!
Here's my Secret ingredient. Well. ONE of them... Top with Carmel ice cream topping, warmed. I'm only baking for two, and my recipe above doesn't last LONG around here. And it's Non-Diabetic. ALL Natural sugars.
MmmmMmmm...i LOVE apple crisp! this time of year, we like to add cranberries as well! there are unlimited variations....apple/rhubarb in the summer, or apples/berries, apple/peach now if you REALLY want it to smell like grandma's house, you gotta add some cinnamon in with that sugar!!!
