So I went to this party last night and I should have known that it would be trouble based on the type of people that were there but I try not to judge others before I really know them. Most of them were what would best be described as "hicks." Most of them were a year or two younger than I am some were still in high school even and they were drinking from the keg. I had brought a little bud and decided that I would like to smoke said bud and commenced to roll a nice fat joint. As soon as I got that thing rolled and just took a hit the main "hick" whose pole barn we were at came over and said, "I Hope that's a cigarette." to which I replied, "Only the best man." then he said, "because if that's marijuana I am going to have to ask you to leave." the party pretty well sucked so I had no problem leaving but he felt the need to have him and all his hick friends escort me to my car. Fortunately my friends were there to back me up should things have turned violent but they didn't. It really pissed me off though being treated like that but I left quietly.
Yeah if he had just asked me not to smoke there I would have gladly put it away but he was being a prick about it. He kept saying "there's the road" and I thought this is a great clash between two opposing ideas, a prodigious butting of heads on ideology and all he could say is "there's the road." It was cool because he was like if anyone else smokes weed they can leave too and all my friends left with me.
I hate people that drink like the irish and then look down on the people that smoke bud. It's completely ridiculous.
Yeah, you have a point or two. If it weren't for all the BS, I could say he was justified in at least wanting to prohibit the use of grass, if only because of the smell.
I don't mind if a person doesn't want weed to be smoked at their place, but I would have certainly put it out if I had known. We were also outside away from the main party out by the cornfields. As soon as I lit up he was out there so somebody went in and told him that I was smoking.
In my opinion, alcohol is a hell of a lot more harmful than weed. I don't understand why marijuana can't be legalized. If it can be controlled like cigarettes and alcohol then it really shouldn't be a problem.
Yeah I should have left that party because it was really lame to begin with. Just a bunch of nineteen year old guys hitting on sixteen year old girls. I fear though that even should marijuana become legal, these types of people would still be against it.
Don't fear it.. embrace it. Those bastards don't deserve it, nor would they appreciate the gift from nature.
Haha... I don't even really go to parties to begin with. I just hang out with three or four people that I know well. I don't like parties.
I guess that by "These types" I mean anti marijuana. I have no problem if a person likes to drink but if that same person tells me that smoking marijuana and should not be done then I would charge them with having an illogical frame of mind. That and these guys were hicks with sleeveless flanel shirts and "nut hugger" pants and most of them drove huge pick up trucks.
Yeah, that's the kind of shit that happens around here sometimes... But the commercial fishermen around here are always on coke and whatnot.
