I have a big pile of cow shit mixed with hay in my yard for my garden and this morning I noticed it was growing mushrooms. I heard magic mushrooms grow on cowshit and have to be harvested in a particular time frame or they die off or some shit. I wanted to know if these mushrooms are magic or just shit mushrooms.

    Thanks

Uhh, did you plant your own specimens or did you just let the shit grow shrooms? Hard to tell, so many magic mushies look just like dangerous shrooms.

altho im not sure exactly wat they are, from the looks of it theyre probably inky caps, i can assure u they are not the "magic" mushrooms u seek. before u go eating mushrooms u find outside i suggest u become well read in the field of mycology at least read a few books and familiarize urself with common mycological terms dont use pictures alone to id any mushrooms thers to many look alikes out there and usually with mushroom poisoning u not only die but most times its a horrible slow and painful death and by the time symptoms occur usually its to late to reverse the poisoning even if there is a hospital down the street

does not sound fun, i was always told by people that the only mushrooms that would grow on cow shit were shrooms but apparently that sounds to not be the case.

No, no, that is a very wrong thing for people to think, and it can get people pretty sick, or even (DUN DUN DUN) make them dead... You have to do some research before properly identifying them as magic mushrooms, because there are lots of poisonous lookalikes out there. I would suggest visiting Shroomery.org for more information on mushroom hunting. Good luck, friend.
