    01. Lift up your hearts and sing me a song that was a hit
    Before your Mother was born

    02. Run to the bedroom, in the suitcase on the left,
    You'll find my favorite axe

    03. My God, he was like an
octopus. Hands all over the place

    04. Strobe lights and blown speakers, fireworks and hurricanes
I'm not here, this isn't happening

    05. As the bouncer is a Sumo wrestler cream-puff casper milktoast
And the owner is a mental midget with the I.Q. of a fence post

    06. I'm not like them
    But I can pretend

    07. I asked the captain what his name was
And how come he didn't drive a truck
He said his name was Columbus
    I just said, "Good luck."

    08. One day up near Salinas, Lord, I let him slip away,
He’s looking for that home and I hope he finds it

    09. Someday you'll meet your rocking chair
    cos that's where we're spinning
There's no point to wanna comb your hair
    when it's grey and thinning

    10. Girl, It's a hard, hard world, if it gets you down
Dreams often fade and die in a bad, bad world

I've tried to pick stand out lines from the chosen songs, without giving them away completely of course. Best of luck and all that :)

    6. nirvana - dumb

    7. bob dylan - bob dylan's 115th dream

    8. bah...so close
    9. the clash - bankrobber

    10. the kinks - animal farm

bah! so damn close...i recognise the eighth, but ive tried and cant put words to song...

i love the line you picked in 115th dream, such a perfect ending to the song, but favourite bit has to be -

Well, by this time I was fed up
At tryin' to make a stab
    At bringin' back any help
For my friends and Captain Arab
I decided to flip a coin
    Like either heads or tails
Would let me know if I should go
Back to ship or back to jail
So I hocked my sailor suit
And I got a coin to flip
    It came up tails
    It rhymed with sails
So I made it back to the ship
