Okay I didn't know were to post this so I figured here... anywho me and a friend wanna try acid. we've both been smoking for about 1/2 a year now and we want to try acid... I'm wondering how much we should buy for the first time a kid I know who has done it sugested two hits for 30 dollars for each person (in capsule form). He said it would mess us up for a good 8 hours. Is this a good amount and good price? I don't want my first trip to be to crazy should we take less or is this a good dossage? 1. Shrooms are not any safer then acid, and if you get a normal price on acid, shrooms are more expensive and not as fun. 2. $30 for 2 is a bit of a rip off, normally I'd say don't go higher then $10, but supply and demand, what can you do if you can't find it cheaper. 3. Take 2 hits at once, cause if you take 1 you might not wind up getting anything from it, then you'd ge fucked for your money.
If you get the option to do mushrooms I would take that before taking a synthetic acid tab. On your first go I would only do 30, that way you can have a bit of a giggle, see things moving around of their own accord and be pretty wasted without losing total control. Bad trips are a fucking nightmare, and you need to make sure you trip with someone who has done it before so they can reassure you that what you are feeling is OK, and it also helps to have someone with you whom is sober so they can stop you doing stupid shit. make sure your in a safe, secure envioroment, somwhere you dont feel threatend or scared and with people you trust. If you dont have the option of doing shrooms then take half a tab for your first try, then gradually increase the dose for a more profound effect. Acid can be a wonderfully liberating, self enhancing drug, but can also have a very very negative effect, you need to be adequetly preparred for any eventualitiy to get the most out of it.
Shrooms are natural and safer than LSD i.e. no strycht 9 or other added in chemicals. Just go out the cow pasture and pick them. Which do you trust? A lab made substance by someone that doesn't know what the fuck they are doing (unless they know chemistry) or something that comes from the ground?

LSD tabs don't now, nor have they ever, contained strichnyne (SP?). It's an urban legend, like orange juice kid. Shrooms are, by and large, much more mild than a full-blown acid trip, and if this is your first time with a real hallucinogen (MJ doesn't really count) i would go for the shrooms. They aren't neccesarily "safer", both are pretty mild on your body (if you get the right shrooms of course!) it's just that shrooms are shorter acting, around 4-6 hours, and aren't as intensely visual or psychological. it's kindof like learning to crawl before you walk before you run.
shrooms arnt better but they are still fun do acid and have a good time just dont worry about freaking out
Id say lsd is worst...it lasts for nearly two times as long so it is harder on your brain and psyche . Mushrooms you take good old nature factured psilocybin , and acid goes in purities of 60% sometimes, thats cant be too good. But it also comes in purities of 95 percent. You have to know what you take. It also depends on the strenght of your trips. Once I took two hits of lsd who sent me on a trip that maybe 10 grams of mushrooms would have equaled...But I guess a single medium strenght hit of lsd, like 50ug, every weekend is safer than an eight of shrooms every weekend, on how much it can fuck you up. You have to use lsd more wisely on how frequently you trip I guess.
Yeah I've smoked salvia... so I've had some experience with hallucinogens... I've never been able to get my hands on shrooms though... I think it's because of my small town... now above someone said you can just go into a cow pasture and pick them???? :S is this true lol?
Ive heard this too, and it's probably somewhat true. However, don't just go picking any mushroom you see growing in a cow pasture. Not all mushrooms are safe to eat. In fact, most wild mushrooms are probably dangerous, if not fatal.
yeah seriously thats no good just picking random mushrooms, I mean unless you know what your doing I know a little bit about it and can Id many poisonus types as I have poisoned many of my swords and throwing knives with them but I wouldn't even go out and pick them to eat and many experts won't either theirs really know telling what you could get.
if its growing out of a lump of cow shit its a pretty safe bet that they are edible. or u can look up how to indentify edible kinds.
man dont listen to any of these fuckin burnouts telling you to try mushrooms before acid. do whatever you get ahold of first, its not like mushrooms are a step up to acid.. i've never had anything but a good time with cid, but i had the most horrifying experience of my life on just an eighth of mushrooms (i guess they were hawaiian or mexican or something)... i guess it depends on your mind, but after the mushrooms took me out of my tent, out of the festival, out of the country, the world, the universe, an atom, a molecule, etc... and vice versa, as soon as it was over i was pretty ok. just as long as you remember its a drug. also if you blotter is heavy and bitter, dont take too much more if you're not feeling anything, unless you want to be tripping for the next two days...
