So my friends mom is friends with this drug counseler lady. I was at my friends house and this lady was there. We were talking, and some how LSD came into discussion. So, this bird-like lesbian is one hundred percent positive that people can OD and die from LSD. "I have seen it many times kid, not a pretty sight." ok butch... What are they teaching these people?

Well....this thread makes me sad....
I know it's bad for someone (anyone) to be putting out bad information. And it's really sad if they believe it and are supposed to be an expert on the substance.

But, I'm sure it has nothing to do with her being a lesbian or a woman. Almost every post has some derogatory term about one or the other.

I hope I don't sound too preachy when I say that fighting disinformation with misdirected hatred towards entire groups of our population that have nothing to do with it will only make your argument less palatable to many people. So, just for your own goals, it doesn't help. In addition, it obviously is hurtful to not only those groups of people, but to people who feel compassion towards them.

I thought LSD was supposed to help people realize these kinds of things.

That's cool. I'm not sure what made it seem so bad to me this morning. It was like everyone was talking about beating up on gay women like a mob with torches and pitchforks or something.

(One of my good friends/coworker is gay with kids...and from time to time she confides in me how stuff like this makes her feel, especially when it's related to her kids and shit she has to take from other parents. I know she's a better parent than anyone who would give her shit. She doesn't say much...like she never said much to me about that California proposition during the elections, but I could tell it really was painful and kind of ruined the fact that she would have been excited about Obama otherwise.)

I once read this educational thing they gave to government workers like cops and hospital staff, and the vast majority of the "information" on drugs was plain erroneous. Makes me wonder if it's an honest mistake or they're simply brainwashing their people.

People who are anti-drugs and hold speeches, seminars, etc on them, annoy me. They just don't seem to have a clue what they're talking about, and yet will adamantly defend their false beliefs despite any evidence and research you can muster to prove them wrong.

 

you can OD at like the 60,000 to 90,000 mic range, and pretty much no one will take that amount unless your a veteran tripper.
