LSD at Bonnaroo: The Mother of All Hallucinogens

So I made it to Bonnaroo, met some cool people, enjoyed the music, and decided that I wanted to trip the first day at the festival. To make a long story short, I ended up with 5 hits of white blotter.

I thought I had gotten ripped off, because I didn't follow the precautions I and others wrote about here, and I may have paid a little too much for them. Still, it's something I wanted to do, so whether I paid $10 too much is not an issue for me.

After 30 minutes of taking the hits (putting them in my mouth and sucking them under my tongue) I felt funny. But I thought it might be a placebo effect. After 45 minutes I saw objects shift, and was starting to feel confident it was real. About an hour later tracks in the parking lot vaguely appeared like snakes, I was ultra-sensitive to the ground I was stepping on, and objects were looking larger and smaller than they were and shifting around. I was excited to finally get some LSD: it made my weekend.

I researched the drug, and still I found the experience overwhelming. I tripped for a whole 20 hours! I became paranoid, thought I was going insane, thought I was going to die. LSD is by far the most powerful psychedelic I have taken (excluding Datura). I lost control, surprisingly, and had both a good and bad trip. The onset was beautiful, with my senses ultra sensitive to the music and me feeling the vibes and seeing amazing trails during Dave Matthews's performance. But the peak of the trip became too intense for me to enjoy the music, and I had to run away because the music and light display were overwhelming for me (on LSD you filter out less perceptual data). The light display was a non-ceasing kaleidoscopic bombardment, which I could even taste. Though the place was crowded, the gaps between people seemed like several yards. The grass appeared and felt like seaweed.

The comedown was nice, with objects still shifting, my sanity back to where it was before the trip, and synesthesia (the ability to taste colors). I felt very tactile, and thought it would be great to do with a girl, because my skin was so sensitive. I felt that the drug was much more powerful in that sense than even 2c-i, which has been compared to MDMA. Maybe next time I will take 1 or 2 hits, because LSD is such a powerful drug.

My impression of LSD is that no drug will ever completely drive it out of the market, because it is so strong. It gave me incomparably great psychedelic visuals and changes in perception. I realized then that LSD is the mother of all hallucinogens: whereas I wrote that 2c-e gives a "mind-blowing" experience, I would say that LSD is "earth-shattering."

 

wow, dude. I think I know where you might have gotten that acid. Now, call me crazy and I could be wrong, but a friend of mine went to 'Roo and one of the people in his group had books of white blotter that they were selling for 10/ hit. When he first said that, I didn't believe he had that much and I didn't believe it was any good but he proved me wrong. I seen the sheets upon sheets he had bought, and I've eaten a lot of it lately. I love it! It's really good clean sid. It's a good chance that's it's the same, right?!

Yep! I paid 10 bucks a hit, which to me is not such a big deal because (1) I tripped for 20 hours, and (2) I had wanted to do LSD for a long, long time. I am just thankful I did not get ripped off.

Incidentally, that LSD was STRONG. I kept on thinking that the chemist who made that batch was damn good.

Like I said, I could be wrong, but there's a strong chance that anyone who got good L that was totally white came from this dude.

And yeah, this stuff is pretty potent, even for a veteran tripper like me!

 

I didn't eat any doses, but the mescaline I found at Bonnaroo was sublime.

To tell you the truth, most LSD everywhere is the white on white. It's all strong, and out of the 100k people there, there were probably thousands selling doses, no exaggeration. Most everyone had the white on white, but there is stronger out there.. mars attacks for example. I ate three hits of the mars attacks on Sunday for The Word and the Superjam.

You tripped for 20 hours off of one hit? You mean you ate the five you bought and tripped for 20 hours right? Next time bro, look around, there were people selling the white on white for 35 bucks a ten strip. LSD is back in full force.

The only mescaline I was offered at bonnaroo was not mescaline, but LSD. He was selling purple microdots, and you can't fit an active dose of mescaline into a microdot. I was however offered peyote tea on sunday after I had broke bank on food beer and drugs... the guy offered to trade for some bud, but luckily nysp's confiscated all of ours on the drive down

 

I tripped after putting 5 hits into my mouth. You are right, it looks like L is making a comeback. To tell you the truth, I am just happy I did not get bunk, 'cause I met a couple that got sold bunk.

I just wanted to try out a massive dose. For me, that made my weekend.

 

You think that just because you both got white blotter, that it came from the same guy? White blotter is very popular. I got some white blotter a couple weeks ago that you had to take two to have a real experience. That acid is not the same as what you or he had.

 

Then I'd say you are very unlucky.. that sucks dude I feel your pain, getting weak doses of any drug is shitty... but most all white blotter around right now is relatively strong.

 

Right on man, 5 hits is what I like to dose, that's when the visuals start to get interesting for me usually.. Too bad I could only afford 3 hits of the mars, that shit is soooo dank.

I'll bet it def. did make your weekend, I went through tons of bullshit for the roo. First, my ounce of headsmoke was taken by k9s on the way down. Now, I get ounces for 180-200 at home of good nugs, not usually run of the mill beasters, but every now and then i get beasties, these weren't beasty though, they were filthy with crystals... I get to the roo, everyone is selling buds for 50 an eighth, i couldn't fucking believe it... people are shouting "headies," I look at the bud, it's lower grade than what I get at home, and they're calling it headies? What the fuck man... So eventually I find this guy from Lawrence, a city near mine, and he agrees to sell me a quarter for 75... still highway robbery, but a way better price than anyone else there. Next, I buy two hits of white on white and a gram of the bubble, while the guy is looking through his bag for the bubble (i already gave him the money and got the doses off him) another guy walks up slanging molly so I start shooting the shit with him.. while I am turned, the guy walks away without giving me my bubble, so I lost 25 on that gram... The molly I bought was definately not weighed properly, I paid for 4 tenths and probably got 2... the kids I were with got bunk mushrooms, but in the bag of bunk shrooms there was a nice 2 gram ball of opium that the dealer must have not known about.. The whole time, the kids I am with had never dosed or rolled... So they were heavily disappointed in molly, but I explained it was the underweighed dose not the drug... By Sunday they decide they wanna try cid cause of the bunk shrooms.. so I am like ok, I find the mars print off of one guy finally and get my friend a ten strip... we all ate three hits, and here are some of the quotes from the kids that got turned on:

"Dude, why didn't you tell us about this when we got here? Fuck everything else, we would have only bought doses"

"Dude, this is quite possibly the best drug ever"
Me: "It's not possibility, it is fact"

"This is so good, I've never felt so good in my life"

 

i've tripped 24 hours off of acid... well not tripped the whole time but i felt damn funny for that long.. and couldn't go to sleep. and that was from two hits. it wasn't intense... just long-lasting

 

Feeling funny and tripping aren't the same though. After-effects can last for a couple days.

 

i know .. that's why i said "maybe not TRIPPED the whole time but i felt damn FUNNY"...
and it wasn't an aftereffects feelings.. it was more like a "i haven't slept in hours and i can't sleep because of the acid i took last night..."

 

I know that feeling, and dam that is a shitty feeling.

I seriously doubted this guy. I doubted he had that much and I doubted it was any good IF it was real! I was SO wrong!! That's ok. I'm glad to accept being wrong about those kind of things!

Anyway, a whole group of people were selling it. I hope it made a lot of people happy.
