I have read a few articles about taken LSD one time had a dramatic effect on people with alcoholism. Has anyone seen this? I guess though it only last for about 6 months and I guess they need to re dose. I am sure there is probably more to this, like they are talking with a professional about there problems, I am thinking though this might have to do with the ego loss, but I am unsure.
All I got to say though is why am I never apart of cool medical tests like this!?!

P.s. I hope none of you think I am flooding the board, just for some reason, LSD has been on my brain a lot lately, I do not know if I am wishing for a link back to the past in better times or what.

This is pretty well known. The man that coined the term psychedelic was the leading researcher on the use of lsd to treat alcoholism in the 50's. It has also been used to treat cluster headaches.
I'm not sure where you heard this 'only lasts 6 months' thing.. there was often life long changes associated with lsd therapy.
