It's more of a downer. There's not near the energy in A that's in D. Nor does it contain the same the peceptive power
geck: in your opinion, all comparisons aside, would you say that it is or is not worth using in addition to or as a substitute for other psychedelics? how about worth it to just try once? i've gotten too sick from just downing the stuff either eating them or as a cold water extract, so i'm just trying to decide if i should ever bother doing the proper extraction with the nonpolar/polar solvent thing
I tried morning glories one time. I ate 450 seeds and was having tactile hallucinations and mild visuals. I agree that it is more of a downer, as I was laid back in my chair the whole night. I also noticed some pretty nice CEV's. I definitely want to try some HBWR, at least once.
I don't think it's worth the trouble- more yeechiness than fun. not very enlightening, ethier. I doubt I'll ever do it again. It was more of a novelty thing, ( with the exception of deleriants, I'll pretty much give anything a try) or a teaching tool the times I've used it. But in the case of LSA, it was never really worth it HBRW are easier to deal with, but not much better. In both cases, even with a proper extract, there seems to me to be an element of sickness inherent in the drug itself. Or perhaps I'm wrong. I've never managed to purify it enough to grow crystals. so it's possible that some other amine or other chem is responsible for the crappy part of the trip. In any case, LSA is a joke compared to psilocybin or LSD or mescaline. For a legal trip, I stick with San Pedro or the other one (name escapes me at the moment)- although it should be noted that proper prep for consumption or extraction is a pain in the ass.
peruvian torch? i got a good sized cutting of that once, fasted most of the day and prepared it in jello....it was really easy to get down and keep down, but there was just SO much of it....i couldn't finish it, but thought i got most of the cactus. i only ate enough to get the slightest effects, but it was enough to know i'll come back to it for another try someday. next morning i looked at what was left, and i actually did miss a lot more of it than i thought.
i recently found out that lophophora williamsii is legal as a plant over here too bad they fuckin take years to cultivate
they dont have to take that long. you can get them to about the size of a 10 year old cactus in about a year if you graft it to the right plant.... check out www.mushmush.nl i haven't been there for a while, but they used to have some pretty decent information regarding grafting peyote to faster growing cacti. it wont grow you a ten-year-old sized button in a year, but you can also graft it to san pedro or something and by the time the peyote is big enough to harvest, you should have a decent sized crop of san pedro available if you want it, as well.
http://www.mushmush.nl/?page=home\methods\grafting_cacti there you go bill. i'd like to do this myself, some day, but it will require obtaining peyote seeds first.
Nesta, only the inner skin of a san pedro contains mesc.- that's why the pain in the ass part. the outer, waxpaper-like skin should be dicarded, along with the "meat" inside. Freeze drying the plant makes it relatively easy to peel apart. 25 g's of dried inner skin (equivilent to about 12-20 inches of fresh plant- WAY too much to stomach) should turn the trick- still alot to eat, but an effective tea can be made.
I've actually found LSD and LSA immensely similar. LSA like mentioned is perhaps a bit of a sedative in comparison with the energy obtained from LSD. However, I find the visual and psycedelic experiences of the two drugs extremely alike. The heavy nausea, which increases on every use is a definate turn off when considering LSA. Without the nausea, I would definately prefer LSA over shrooms, not over LSD though.
Perhaps, depending on what you mean by a high dose. (never eaten more than 1 high quality blotter paper on one go) I have however, tried an extremely high dose of LSA.
That's probably why you find LSA and LSD so similar. LSA reaches a plateau of intensity that you can't surpass, whereas LSD can get a lot more powerful.
You just inspired me to do a little tripping next weekend I've had pretty powerful LSD trips on 1 blotter (in comparison to shrooms and LSA), but I guess its time to try 2
Yeah exactly man, LSA is all visual and just chill, LSD gets to a point where it's so ridiculous you really cannot explain it in words...it almost gives you chills when you think about it afterwards....
