haha i just noticed. Ive never loved my hair so much. like i dont know anyone who spends so much time and really takes care of their hair besides dreadheads. we are so concerned at wat we are putting in there and tightening it up. people will normal hair i know do not take so much care. i mean i wake up and knot it up. other people wake up and comb out the tangles haha i love it!
Hahah, yeah. My dreads have become like, my friends. They're an experience, a journey. I really don't know what I'd do with myself if I didn't have locks.
i get that tooo! when it was just long and wavey i didn't pay it attention, i did have to brush i regularly because it got in so many knots... but i didn't spend time on it... now i play with it all the time and put so much more pleasure into it! its love it really is!
yea i can't keep my hands out of my hair..i'm always twisting it and stuff....haha my girlfriend can't keep her hands out of my hair either, but i like it when she messes with em
Haha...I agree. I've never been so satisfied with my hair as I am now. I never really have a "bad" hair day anymore. I just love the feel of my hair all the time. It's funny because I'll be sitting, watching TV, and all you'll see are my hands on my head, knotting my roots or just playing with my dreadies. My boyfriend's hair is long, and he's always trying to get the knots out of his hair, while I try to get the knots INTO mine...haha.
I was counseling at this camp this past week and one of my fellow dreadheads cut hers off. She was really upset (i was too)..and throughout the week she came over to touch mine because she missed hers so much.... I could never cut my dreads..the time and effort I've put into them makes them too special. They're like my children
