    Ah "London calling" eh?
    "It's a long way there"
But then again "There and back again" - that's another story :)

If you're quick you might be in time to catch the fading echoes of greatness in those few rapidly dwindling pockets of quality amidst the New London rubbish.
Or just go for the touristy stuff, of course - that'll always be around.

Either way, make sure you're well supplied with cash and/or plastic. You'll need it in London.

    That's true.

I like smaller cities more. Like Bristol. Liked it very much. :)

I was in Manchester once, but only waiting for three hours at the coach station in the middle of the night (1am-4am) unfortunately - on my way from Bradford to London. Would like to see a bit more of the city next time. :)

You might want to watch this video from the English Tourist Board before you decide to come over ;)

Manchester is so cosmopolitan and diverse - a weekend visit with friends may be a fun excursion (or excuse) to enjoy
    = Manchester welcomes all :)

Is it just me or are all the beaches in the UK ugly ass rock beaches where I wouldn't particularly like to walk barefoot nor swim?

It's just all I really ever see are beaches full of rocks.
