Hey I live in London.Message me if If you want to meet for Coffee or lunch.I could show you around the West End.
Ah "London calling" eh? "It's a long way there" But then again "There and back again" - that's another story
If you're quick you might be in time to catch the fading echoes of greatness in those few rapidly dwindling pockets of quality amidst the New London rubbish. Or just go for the touristy stuff, of course - that'll always be around.
When summer comes I think most people want to get out of London into the countryside as with most big city's ?
I was in Manchester once, but only waiting for three hours at the coach station in the middle of the night (1am-4am) unfortunately - on my way from Bradford to London. Would like to see a bit more of the city next time.
You might want to watch this video from the English Tourist Board before you decide to come over (NSFW) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6QFrXZ99Xw
Manchester is so cosmopolitan and diverse - a weekend visit with friends may be a fun excursion (or excuse) to enjoy = Manchester welcomes all

Is it just me or are all the beaches in the UK ugly ass rock beaches where I wouldn't particularly like to walk barefoot nor swim?
they look nice. Except the first one.. Doesn't appear to be any water? It's just all I really ever see are beaches full of rocks.
We are an island and have loads of Beaches mate The first one is southport Beach near us ! The water is there but you have to walk See the pier on the right the water comes half way up that when the tide is in 45 mins drive from my house
