How do I get rid of it? I tried tea tree oil once, and I won't use it again. My hair is already damn greasy!

I've been looking for pure aloe vera, but I'm not sure I really want to put that in my hair. Won't it make my hair really greasy and oily?

Anyway, I'm not terribly bothered by the frizz, but I'm curious if there are any easy solutions to make it go away. In fact, I'm quite impressed with my dreads.

Two pictures from today (note: I'm not dreading those two front pieces of my hair. If they grow out more I'll consider it, but it would be very annoying to have dreads right where my bangs are):

from what I can gather frizz is just something you will have to live with for a while.

For greesy hair make a mixture of 3/4 cup bicarbonate soda, few drops of tea tree oil, table spoon of lemon juice, table spoon of salt. Give your hair a good soak and wrap in a towel of half hour. Rinse out and your hair will be spotless, I did this the other day and it works wonders. My hair was minging before

    hope this helps - peace

if your hairs grewasy straight teatree isnt the way to go especoaly if u overuse it
although just a tin bit can dry ouit out alot
aloe is great for frizz but agsain use sparingly and not often
the deep cleansse though is the best for both greasyness and dandruff
but it will get your hair so clean it'll be extra frizzy so again dont use it all the time till ypour more maturemaybe follow it by the aloe
alow goews in kinda greasy but dries n hardens to a skinlike film that basicly disapears and then will rinvce right out next time uy wash it also nouriswhes scalp and hair

I love the frizz. Mayeb it's just because my hair's always been curly and always been frizzy, but I think it's the most beautifully natural bit. Love it I say. What's the problem with being a bit flyaway, it's better than being unnaturally slicked back...imo.

    i agree
also your lookingat your dreads from 1 inch away others are looking at them from at closest 2 feet usualy. nobidy but youeve notices the friz that your upset about ..friz s always there its no big deal but only you being hypercriticle of your owmn dreads ever notice it..
look at every drad n the insiration thread and if u could look closely at ach dread ytheyre would be as frizz as yours..if they areent theyre canles..or crocheted (which makes them weak)
te cleaner the dreaeds the more frizz u get so be glad that u have frizz it just meandss youyr cleaner then the rest

Hah, word, thanks guys. The frizz wasn't bothering me that much, but my mother nags about it constantly so I figured if it was easy to fix I would. But I don't particularly mind the frizz, it'd be nice to know how to tame it.

Eh, I'll let dreads be dreads. ;)
