So I went on my first BF run the other night. The trail hurt my feet pretty bad, as it's mostly loose gravel, but the pavement was lovely. As I'm also a noob to running, I did the run and minute/walk a minute and did about 25 minutes worth. Pathetic I know, AND my calves, thighs and butt meat are killing me..going up stairs, ouch. But I really enjoyed it, and look forward to getting my speed/stamina up. Peace, -FM
One should always start out slow and not overdo it. You'll be fine, but don't be overconfident. Now you know 25 minutes was too long. Do less next time and gradually increase your time as you feel comfortable. Give your body time to adapt to its changed environment. In time, you'll be able to endure much more.
