I used to be an avid, avid reader as a teenager/young adult, but now I just can't seem to discover any new authors or series that spark my interest as much. I really love science fiction/fantasy novels, but I'm not opposed to anything really. I can also get into plain old weird books. My favorite authors so far have been: Clive Barker Anne Rice Margaret Weis (&Tracy Hickman) Garth Nix ...and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head. I'm looking for suggestions of books by authors or genres similar to these, because I miss reading direly. Anybody got anything awesome for me? Thanks in advance!
If you love science fiction do yourself a favour and read the 'Space Odyssey' series by Arthur C. Clarke. There's four of them. Clarke was the pioneer of science fiction so you know it's good.
