My gf is on marvelon 28 and i've noticed a decrease in her sex drive.. we have went to the doctors and told them this and they said that its normal. not really much they can do.. however they did give my gf a perscription for Tricyclen 28.. Just wanted to know how common this is in woman, and how this can be corrected, with practicing safe sex!! thank you!

Hey man, anything that decreases the sex drive of what someone usually experiences is not normal. What the heck is marvelon 28 and Tricyclen. On the up side, at least you are having sex.

They used to have an expresion during the counterculture days in the U.S. (I'm sure they said it in Canada too) that you couldn't trust anyone over 30. I never believed in that myself but I do believe in this now, Don't trust a doctor no matter what age they are.

 marvelon and tircyclen are birth contorl pills, just two different brands. some brands, depending on their dose, affect women in different ways. im on a very low dose pill, alesse, thats monophassic instead of trihpasic (if your gf has issues with yeast infections its sometimes related to triphasic pills). sometimes women just ahve to go through a bucnh of different brands to find one that their body reacts to in a way they want. i only had to go through two fortunately to find the one i like. but yes, decresaed sex drive is a common reaction for a lot f women. and you ahve to trust doctors to a certain extent when theyre the only ones who can writ eyoua presrciption for birth control

decrease in sex drive is a common side effect of the pill. She could try a lower dose kind of pill and this might improve, but remember that hormones do have an effect on how your body works and that's the worst part of taking the pill.

It is common. Never happened to me, but the phrase "lowered libido" just isn't in my body's vocabulary.

Did you suffered of from low drive sex or libido? If so, then you can follow my words and advices/suggestions. First if you don't have trust to over the counter medicines, try to consult a doctor. Second, if you want to try medicines then use natural and herbal medicine for it has no bad side effects to your health. I recommend you to use wyld natural,a natural herbal supplements to boost your libido. Lastly, never prone your self into too much stress and depressions, it will cause low libido. Thats all guys thank you...

There's a new product in the market called SupernalBoost, aimed to enhance your libido and your immune system. It is based on four natural ingredients reccomended by Dr Oz : Rhodiola, Maca, Ashwagandha & Asian Ginseng. It will infuse your lifestyle with that added spark to enjoy it to the fullest!
