How do you react when you realize, all of a sudden, that it's just happened to you?
In just a few weeks' time. Like you used it 3 weeks ago, came home with it, then didn't use it for all that time, then realized you needed to use it right now and couldn't find it in its usual place?

You don't keep it on you at all times?
And I would just log onto myflorida.com and order a new one for $10.

    It definitley sucks.
I havent been able to buy smokes or a beer since early summer, except at a local bar with the worst selection in the Philadelphia area lol.

Since I use my Driver License as my ID, I suppose I could use my Passport, Social Security Card, Workplace ID, American Express Card, Library Card, or my AAA card as a secondary form of ID [IMG] and If push came to shove a copy of my DD form 214 or Jury duty summons form.

It's not the end of the world, but it would be an inconvenience [IMG]

Yep. As much as I love Philly, this entire area, nay, this entire state, has some alarmingly gay laws. Did you know that you cant even buy beer, or any alcohol for that matter, at conveniance stores, gas stations, or grocery stores? Wtf is that!
And Im born here but even I am blown away by how dumb that law is. You have to go to a 'state' store to buy hard alcohol, and you have to go to a bar, pub or a distributor to get beer.
I heard a few years ago that they were considering changing the law to at least allow grocery stores to carry alcohol, but so far nothing has materialized to that effect.

gas stations I can understand. even here they won't sell it at gas stations. but basically anywhere else you can buy it - supermarkets, corner shops, 7/11. but here's a funny law about Thailand - you may not buy alcohol between 11am - 2pm and 5-7pm. now there's a law I don't understand.

but in my own country, you can only buy hard alcohol at specialized government run stores (8am-5pm, 3pm on saturdays) and beer can be bought only in licensed supermarkets. oh, and in my hometown, as of august, the bars/nightclubs/whatever may not sell hard liquor after midnight, beer/etc after 2 am. things could be worse for ya, buddy.

Of course! They could be much worse.
Im thankful that very close to my home there are 2 pubs that import some very impressive beer from around the world, and for the most part the price isnt too heavy either :cheers2:

I'm usually pretty good with my ID, I've only lost it a few times.
Once, I was SO lucky and got it back when I left it on the bus and someone actually returned it to the lost and found.

I'm un-thankful that my diving school has a bar, and I live 10 minutes walk from the beach where all the parties and bars are, because I simply cannot afford to drink as much as I'd like to.
but yeah at least the prices aren't too bad, especially in 7/11 :) so I can still have a drink here and there. and I can eat for around 2-3 dollars a day.

Nuestra Familia has a strong identity theft ring, so does the MS-13 and the Mexican Mafia.
