Hey guys. Sorry if this is a newb question, but i'm pretty new at this myself. Concerning loops that form in our dreadlocks. Is there anything to do to prevent them? And, if they do form, is there a way to make them go away? I was browsing the pictures thread, and tbh I'm not really sure whether I wanna go all natural (not talking about wax here, that's a definite no-no for me) or if I wanna groom them to look picture perfect. Peace!
loops are natural in fact necasary to dread, you can play with em alot , palm rolling em to deasth but why bother you want dreads...a natural style then say you dont want threm looking natural? look at your fingerprints, are they perfectly symetrical spirals and each 1 exactly the same? no, nature and perfection are alien to eachoither the perfection comes in the uniqueness of each dread loops lumps splits and twists makje each 1 unique..gives each a personality that forms a family atop your head, a family like no other yours alone perfection then comes in allowing them to do what they want to do, and have the personality they have
soaringeagle, thanks for replying and let me say it's an honor to be given advice from someone as dreadlock-savvy as you. I've spent loads of time posting in forums, and I have this quirk(online or offline) of loving to argue a point. Sometimes I'll do it just for the fun of the debate, even if I'm not sure of my point. Your post however just left me drawing blanks as to any counter-argument whatsoever. All the best.
maybe loops are perfection? and our finger prints are also perfect just love having loops, they will go away.
