I apologise if this has already been discussed but I've never been into this topic before.. I am curious to know what people views are on this. Not whether its possible or not but rather if its 'right' to look into the future. I have a belief that we are not supposed to know the future which is why we don't know about it already, and that trying to find out is a bad thing. No to mention just ruining the suprise. I guess I feel similar about most topics when it comes to psychic's, the unknown it just meant to be 'unknown'
I kind of agree. For me, I wouldn't want to know when and how I die, because then I'd just be paranoid all the time. But I think it's ok to use this psychic ability to help with matters like love or jobs.
I really hav no clue. but what about people who are naturally in tuned w/ the unknown. I find that messing w/ it is dangerous and not 2 b taken lightly. I hav really scared meself on occasion. But I do believe there is a small possibility that whatever is up there or down there is guiding us with these abilities and gifts. I think, any1 else get that or is it time 2 go back 2 sleep?
Yup i suppose there are positive and negatives about it all. i do think love and jobs and that should be left to the unknown and not tampered with. if someone naturally has that ability i think its for them, and they shouldnt try to mess with other people lives.
We were meant to know what is going to happen, we just haven't (as a whole society) developed the ability to do so. WE are the ones meant to change our destiny, how could we do so if we cannot see it?
What leads you to believe we 'were' meant to know? And why are we 'meant' to change our destiny that just sounds rediculous lol. Why the hell would be supposed to change it?

Oh, and to answer the original question: The only thing I've ever heard is that as humans we are not meant to know the future, but some do have the "power". But to use said power is blasphemy, seeing as how "God" is the only one meant to know the future, and we humans aren't on "God's" level. Of course, I don't believe in God, so to me it's all irrelevant. If I want to look into the future, I will, if I don't, then obvioulsy I'll choose not to.
