Looking for friends in KC or Lawrence and places in-between!!!

I will be moving in with my b/f in Lawrence, KS soon. I have no friends in the area as of yet, so finding some like-minded people would be really cool!

-I am pretty much a psytrancer/kandi-kid.
-I love sci-fi/horror movies.
-I love animals.
-I am an avid raver!!!
-I make jewelry/kandi, paint, sew, and hoop. I want to learn to spin poi.
-I make cyberfalls and faux dreads.
-I love to cook.
-My b/f is a musician and visual artist as well. He is also into the ren fair scene!

I would love to find friends to attend raves/parties with, have movie nights, have home parties (cooking/drinking/flow-art), All that good stuff...
Again... FRIENDS!!! My mate and I have no interest in a sexual relationship with anyone else besides each other!

As for substance issues...
-We drink occasionally.
-I use LSD or MDMA once every several months. He and I both partake of nitous every now and then for fun.
-Hard drug users discouraged.
-We don't smoke (weed or anything else) but have no issue with those who do.
