looking for communes or rainbow families near houston

Yes im 20 and looking for a enchanting commune near by.
Or anyone of the sort.
I feel like the only hippie out in these big woods of Magnolia , which is 20min away from Houston.
Welll I hope to hear from someone soon.
I really need the help searching for others like me.
I'm alone

 

I don't know about any communes or such, but hit up TRF, there are some fairly hippyish people there.

 

Hi, maybe you're already aware of it, but the Intentional Communities Database seems to be a very good resource. There are a few communities in Texas listed there - and one in Houston.
A different version of what I think is pretty much the same database is at http://directory.ic.org/. There are quite a few communities listed there for Texas as well.

P.S. I hope this doesn't sound patronising, but may I suggest that you be careful when looking .... I'm sure there are wonderful communities out there ... but there are some dodgy ones as well I imagine
