I've been on a search for a great gift for my mother for christmas and I always love finding new things that they wouldn't have found themselves. My idea for this year is some sort of hollywood history documentary. My mom adores old black and white movies, particularly staring those bombshells of old (ex. Jean Harlow, Greta Garbo, Carole Lombard, etc). I've made it my mission to find the best, most informative one I can find. My mom doesn't have internet and is alway just making the best of blank vhs' and recording what she can on the television. I think it would be a great gift to her to give her a nice chunk of entertainment on DVD whether that's a series of history or just a great collection all in one. Anyone recommend anything? I've been searching on amazon and googling, but sometimes direct recommendations are better.
