Amateurs. I celebrate 25 complete years come November. (day after Thanksgiving) It's been a sweet ride too. I look at other people my age, and they are just physically wrecked because they made the wrong decision about what they eat. Social engineering really. See it on TV, and eat it. We're programmed to do that because we have forgotten the fine art of thinking for ourselves. Fortunately, I don't program very easily. x
YIKES! youre right...Unless i was human in the years before i was born...you never know...Anyway, i cant wait until ive been vegan that long
It all started with not liking pork then went to beef and then to everything else. I have been a vegetarian for 3 years and I dont miss meat at all. I am practically vegan except my love for cheese....But no milk or eggs.
Xexon and drummin, what age/year did you both go vegan? Im sure that back then it was MUCH tougher to do so as well, so your time should be doubled! Today theres soymilk in every grocery store (EVEN QUICK CHEK) and all these meat substitutes everywhere. Back then...wow...things must've been different. I really applaud the both of you!
My age is classified, but I began the day after Thanksgiving, 1982. Gave up eggs a year later. For me, no meat, no fish, no eggs, or anything made with them. I eat dairy up to a point. Fortunately, the area where I live has always been progressive as far as vegetarian diets are concerned. When I went out of state, I had to be careful what I ate. The products are much better now, this is true. Still can't get a decent vegetarian weiner though. Always too dry. x
Okay, this is going to sound laaame, but I started 3 weeks ago XD. I know it hasn't been long at all but I feel that this vegetarianism is going to last a very long time. I mean, I don't feel a longing to eat meat and I never crave it. I don't eat eggs or milk, but I eat a lot of cheese and veggie sandwiches... I feel very proud of myself and my little sister admires me for it.
