   I think the Lonesome Dove miniseries is one of the best westerns ever. It's great, I love watching it, I get totally absorbed in the old west. Gus is such an awesome character. I also love Return to Lonesome Dove. I've read some of Larry McMurtry's novels too and they are pretty good.
