lollypop

    ive got a gigantic lollypop here but its been sitting in the open air for a week or so, do you think its safe to eat? like, if it wasnt, i wouldnt trow it out, id clean it but yeh do you recon thigns yould grown on a slighly slivated lollypop? its about 3 inches radius atm

    Sugar, especially sugar+saliva, is a decent growth medium for bacteria. If you've already had some of the lollipop it's probably not very clean.

    I invite you to take a petri dish, add a bit of sugar, spit in it, then come back to it in a few days :)

    I guess if you can clean it effectively (or just don't care) then go for it.

    I'm thinking way too hard about this.

    yer thats what i thought. isnt it caus theres bacteria in your spit though eh? anyway i think ill clean it. hmm how? ill put it in boiling water for a bit. it will shrink but the bacteria will die lol. or maybe alchohol?

    its not a 2 dollar lollypop it was originally 4/5 inches radius

    i dunno ive eaten candy that was left in my old car from the people that my parents bought it from 6 years ago.

    wash it under water for a few seconds to get any dried saliva off, then have fun with it.

    yer i figure, if its from my saliva it cant exactly be deadly so im eating it now, at 5 30 am i should get to bed

    Yeah....but still, there's bacteria and shite in the water too, so how do you know you weren't jsut adding more bacteria insted of rinsing some off?
