I Lived The First 40 Years Of My Life In The FAST LANE.....Fast Cars.....Fast Bikes..... And Fast Men......Nowadays At The Ripe Old Age Of 70 I Am Happy To Take One Day At A Time And Reflect On The Past FAST LANES..... Cheers Glen.
to each their own. if fast is what amuses you, and you can do so without being inconsiderate, or screwing up everyone else's world by doing so, go for it. but for me, i don't really find all that amusing or gratifying to push the river nor impede it. the things i look for, that gratify me, don't really have a hell of a lot to do, with fast or slow. i could live for ever, even knowing the body i currently occupy won't. the forest always has another twist in the path, in the trees, in the caves, in the things they inspire the mind to build.
Driving fast is fine, provided that the car is up to it, the brakes work correctly and you know how to drive. The same is true of the human body. We can all recover from a few late nights, but poisoning yourself with excess alcohol and drugs is crazy and you spend half your time with a hangover or suffering withdrawal. Most physical injury also seems to happen after excess drinking and assuming that you are invincible. By always keeping your brain in gear, it is quite easy to have a long AND fulfilling life
