Can anyone give me some information about it?

My friend is Lithuanian, she has invited me to go back home with her to visit. Only, I am totally unfamiliar with this part of Europe. Any information will be appreciated.

    many thanks :)

My dad spent part of his childhood in Lithuania.

I've been there when I was like 3... and I remember it having lots of pretty trees.

I'd like to know a bit more about the people and culture etc. Obviously, I could ask my friend, but due to her wanting me to join her on the trip, her opinions will be rose-tinted.

I want to know how Lithuanians react to people of different cultures/races etc? Whether I'm likely to be stabbed by skinheads or whatever...
