Just started my first grow. Is it ok to use HPS lites to veg? I have a t5 also but thought the brighter HPS would be better since I dont have any flowering plants yet.
Actually spring sun is more in the HPS spectrum, like FALL sun is... Where HPS are needed to flower, they work great in early development too.. When you get some fuller leaf's then White light acts a little better.. best results for me are, even amounts of both.
