Pulp Fiction The Green Mile Girl Interrupted Shawshank Redemption Gran Torino Oh and Burlesque. The story is so shit but I love all the musical numbers.
Donnie Darko. Momento. Tombstone. Brazil. The Great Lebowski Four Rooms Taxi Driver There are a bunch more but there's just a few off of the top of my head....
I liked it. First time I saw it was in philosophy class at college. And then saw it another three or so times at home. It can be a little boring at times...and dark... very dark, but I liked it a lot. And honestly, just now thinking about the end- I want to see it again because the end was just strange.
what gives a movie re-see value? sure, there's movies that i can watch and enjoy repeatedly, but i think it's generally more of a personal thing than an inherent value that those movies have.
Old Eastwood westerns. Fistful of Dollars A Few Dollars More Good the Bad and the Ugly Outlaw Josey Wells Also his Dirty Harry movies.
Fight Club Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas The Matrix Avatar 3D Half Baked Usual Suspects Alien Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back Old School Silence of the Lambs
Any good or funny movie has rewatch value, it just takes awhile sometimes before you should rewatch it (especially when you already did so a few times ). For me definitely The big lebowski. I saw Fear and loathing too often but I still like it a lot. But don't feel like rewatching it again anytime soon. I think comedies like Dogma and Jay & Silent Bob strikes back also have staying rewatch value! Clerks too. Not so sure about Mall rats etc.
Fargo Casablanca The Good the Bad and the Ugly Shawshank Redemption The Best Years of Our Lives Double Indemnity Christmas Vacation
There a lot of movies as well as TV shows that I personally like to revisit, but the one movie that really stands out for me as having definite if not requisite "re-see" value of the last decade is Cloud Atlas. The multiple story lines so intrinsically intertwined as to almost elude immediate detection almost guarantees it needs to be watched at least a few times to fully absorb it all. I've seen it 4 times and still see completely new things each time.
