Lighting Questions...

I would like to start growing in my closet next week, but I don't know if the lights I have are sufficient for it. I have two smaller desk lights 30W floros and an other light that's a 5 inch 30W tube as well. Would this be enough for growing 2 plants? Also, should I tinfoil all around them and have a fan for ventilation? Your help would be greatly appreciated!

 

The lights you got are merely going to keep your plants alive during initial seedling and veg stage (if they're the right spectrum light 6000K+). Maybe you can even keeps a mother plant alive in there.. For flowering, you probably need something more powerful, like ATLEAST a 250 HPS or a 125W CFL grow light, or like 5x30W 2500K CFLs, for any descent kind of outcome. CFLs are great because they are cheap, but make sure they're correct spectrum and also make sure you have plenty of them..

You definately need some kind of ventilation aswell. Plants need new CO2 constantly, and without fresh air, they'll die. An oscillating fan inside the grow space is also highly recomended, as good air flow inbetween leafs is crucial for good growth.
