ok, this is going to be my first time grow and i want it to be done right. ive been doin quite a bit of research and i also have a close friend thats been helping me plan this.

just had a few questions maybe you guys can help.

im gonna go with HID's to vegetate my plants cuz i want to grow the max possible and i dont mind spending the extra cash on the lighting, as long as its done right.

the thing is, im planning to have about an 8 site hydro, and a 6 site cloner under a 600 watt MH thats hanging about a foot and a half above the tops. then in my flowering room, im planning to have a 16 site hydro, (5" netted pots, about 2 -6 inches apart) coverin about a 4 x 4 ft space. im planning on goin with a 1000 watt HPS lamp thats placed about 2-3 ft away from the tops of the plants.

ive got the info on the wattage and distance from www.sweetleaf.co.uk and im hoping that i shouldnt have to change anything.

i still havent started yet, cuz im in the process of setting up the two rooms.

also, im planning to have plenty or reflective mylar surrounding my plants to maximize the lighting.

any help, comments, or opinions are greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you got youe things in order....I would keep the 600 a lil higher than i.5 feet till your sure your strain can take it... I would like to add that in my own personall exp, that you want to flower you babies a lil on the small side in a hydro, unless of course you want shrubs...then top at the 4th node and allow 2 extra weeks of veg before inducing.

    Good Luck
