What is the difference between a light cig and a non light cig? Amount of nicotine?

It has to do with the filter?? Hmmm.... I never knew that. I thought it depended on the tar and nicotine content.

 

its a marketing ploy. Smokers that smoke lights generally inhale deeper and smoke faster (due to the denser filter removing the tar and nicotine they are seeking), requiring more cigarettes to quench the need. It sells more cigarettes and thus makes more money for big tobacco. And it allows the smoker to think they are being healthier.

I smoke American Spirit light ones in the yellow thing.... they burn forever, dude. It's kind of annoying sometimes, because I don't want anymore, but it's only half finished and it's been like ten minutes.... and I hate to waste things... agh!

I guess I'm wasting my money by smoking.... haha.... doy.

I rarely smoke sober. I usually smoke a cig to wake myself up and to fall asleep easier. I like to combined them when doing other things too, always picks whatever sort of high it is back up for a little while.

oh, i dont doubt it. I have never been a tobacco smoker, but I believe people make decisions based on taste, and not just toxicity. But you can still breath deeper becuase they are less harsh, that sucks more oxygen to the burning tobacco, causing it to burn faster, but providing the same nicotine and tar as a much less deeply inhaled drag from a full flavor (haha) or unfiltered, that burns slower. $$$$ is the whole point from the buisiness end, your preferences are a side point.

 

Yep. Fuck toxicity. If I had some cancer sticks that tasted sweet as hell and had the most tar and nicotean (sp) Id still smoke em.

 

I find most cigs taste horrible. I havnt found a good tasting cig yet. I find that salem black label have the worse taste to them out of any ive tried. Marlboro and newports have the best taste. Camel turkish jades are pretty good too.

 

Newports - Smoke em for a year and tell me how your lungs feel.
Marlboro - This is where its at.
Camel turkish jades - liked em for about 1 month then they got sick as fuck.
Camel lights - ok Ill smoke em if theres nothing els to smoke
Old Gold - Tast like carbord at first but after smoking 10 packs you get used to it.

Yeah man, my sister smokes newports. She smokes a hell of a lot too. She coughs constantly. Shes only 16. Shes going to have really bad lungs when shes older. What causes them to be so bad on the lungs?
