Tonight I felt the saving powers of grace about to wash over me, but I said no, I didn't want it. God came down to me and wanted me to accept him but I decided not to. More specifically I did not want to give up all the things in my life and replace them with God. I am a Christian myself and go to church every week, so to have a moment where I chose not to go to God is extremly intresting, so what do yall think?
No offense, but that seems rather sad. The road is never easy, but nothing worth striving for is (a career, the delivery of a child, etc.). That is why I use the phrase, "mainstream Christians". Those whom say they follow God, but they only desire to be lukewarm. There is a difference between being a Christian and being a follower. It is sad to hear that you declined God's grace.
You weren't ready yet. That simple. God knows when you will be ready, even if God teases you by pretending to want you to accept God when you are not. Like sleeping with a virgin... you want to do it, but you want them to be comfortable so they enjoy it...
How did u know it was GOD? IT could have been a fallen angel.BUt if it was God You better start recognizeing that hes tHE ONLY ONE that can save your life and just calling your self a christian and going to church isnt going to save you. AND thanks to GODS Grace we are saved and its sad that people like you reject it.
Hmmm. I can't judge your decisions. Only to say that it was great that you had this connection and offering from God. Many people never have that experience. You should feel blessed. Dig deep within your self and ponder this event repeatedly. I think it is a real beginning for you to finally start putting your life into perspective. I see it as a wonderful turning point for you. Maybe through deep personal contemplation you will be ready to receive the offering the next time you are presented with it! Work to this goal! No matter how slowly you may progress, progression is the key!
